1. Nritya Parva: 

Sattriya Kendra, Guwahati of Sangeet Natak Akademi, Ministry of Culture, Government of India presents the prestigious Sattriya Dance festival, “Nritya Parva”.The festival held every year from 15 Nov to 18 Nov at Sri Sri Madhavdeva International auditorium in Srimant Shankardev Kalkhetra, Guwahati.

2. Khajuraho Dance Festival:

The Madhya Pradesh Kala Parishad organised Khajuraho Dance Festival”, is a one-week festival of classical dances held annually beside the Khajuraho temples in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh state in central India. The festival is conducted in February from the 20th to the 26th every year.

3. Konark Dance Festival: 

“Konark Dance Festival” is a five day dance festival held every year in the month of December mostly from 1 to 5 in backdrop of the Sun temple in Konark, Odisha in India. It is one of the biggest dance festivals held in Odisha. The exquisite ‘Salamander’ or the ‘dancing hall’ of this shrine is an architectural wonder.

4. Mamallapuram Dance Festival:

It was organized by The Tamil Nadu Tourism department with the support of the Union Ministry of Tourism in the month of December-January every year organized the “Mamallapuram Dance Festival”. The dance festival of over 3 weeks will see performances in Bharathanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kuchipudi, Kathak, Odissi, Kathakali and other Indian classical dance forms.

5. Nishagandhi festival:

The “Nishagandhi festival”, conducted by Kerala is a seven-day cultural fiesta is held in the Nishagandhi Auditorium from January 20 to 26, every year. Renowned dancers from all over India presents classical dance forms.

6. Sirpur National Dance and Music Festival:

7. Natyanjali Dance Festival:

“Natyanjali Dance Festival” is held every year at Chidambaram, near Chennai in the months of February or March.  It is a 5 days long celebration which begins at the advent of the grand fest of Maha Shivratri. The festival is a joint effort of the Department of Tourism – Government of Tamil Nadu, Ministry of Tourism – Government of India and Natyanjali Trust – Chidambaram. It serves as a platform for dancers from all over India to exhibit their talent.

8. Taj Mahotsav:

“Taj Mahotsav” is one of the most cherished cultural festivals of India. Held every year, between February and March, it is a ten day feast of classical dances, folk art and light music. This grand carnival takes place in Shilpgram, a place located very close to the Taj Mahal, Agra. Taj Mahotsav is an ode to the rich cultural heritage of Uttar Pradesh. This special Mahotsav is organized by Uttar Pradesh Tourism.

9. Dharani Kalotsav:

The Dharani Kalotsav organised by ‘Society Dharani’ a Cochin (Kochi) based cultural organisation, is a three-day dance and music extravaganza held every year in Kochi, Kerala during the time of October – November. The Society has tried to create an awareness and appreciation for pristine classical arts. Lecture demonstrations by the artistes themselves are held in between the programs.

10. Soorya Dance Festival: 

The Soorya  festival is conducted for ten days every year in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala State. It starts from 1st October to 10th of October every year. Kathak, Manipuri, Odissi, Kathakali, Bharathanatyam etc. are some of the celebrated forms of Indian classical dance which are staged by eminent artists, during the festival.

11. Elephanta festival: 

Organized by the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) to promote Mumbai tourism and culture. The festival, which is a feast of dance and music, is conducted in the month of February every year. 12. Ellora-Ajanta Festival: 

The Ellora festival is also popularly known as the Ellora Ajanta festival, is organized by the Aurangabad festival Committee. It is a platform that showcases talents of classical music and dance from all over the world. This festival is generally held every year during the month of October. It is a three-day event which is held at the Soneri Mahal in Aurangabad.

13. Kinkini Festival:
