With more than 25 years of devotion into the Sattriya tradition, Adhyapak Manik Bora is a distinguished Sattriya Guru of Assam. He is a versatile personality who knows about singing, dancing, costume designing and playing instruments. A Sangeet Natak Academy awardee Adhyapak Bora was conferred with the Borbayan title by Bhogpur Sattra.
